CAFE 180 Community Garden: How does your garden grow?

communitygardenCAFE 180 Community garden volunteer,  Kathy DiPietro, writes about her experience in the garden: Much of the time I spend helping CAFE 180 is spent in the community garden at a Bishop Elementary School. I am not sure if it is the excitement of seeing seeds grow into vegetables or the knowledge that eating these organic vegetables is the one of the keys to health and wholeness,  but either way, it is so exciting to be part of this part of the Cafe.  This year we have four gardens with lots of tomatoes, squash, cucumbers and even baby pumpkins! Stop by,  pull a weed, tie a vegetable up on a trellis or in a few weeks come help harvest the fruits of our labor.  It will all help make even more delicious organic salads,  soups and pizzas at CAFE 180.
