It’s safe to say COVID-19 has upended life around the globe. During this time of social distancing and self-quarantining, it is easy for people to feel stressed, isolated and alone. Additionally, as businesses are forced to close their doors, there is a growing number of people struggling financially to keep a roof over their head and food on their table.
At CAFE 180, we remain committed to helping people who need a “hand up” in our community, especially during this trying time, by continuing to provide food for anyone who needs it. We are preparing free, to-go meals daily for anyone experiencing food insecurity. We are also offering a special take-out menu so you can still enjoy food from our restaurant despite the fact we’ve temporarily closed our dining area to do our part in slowing the spread of coronavirus.
We are handing out these meals through our patio window Monday through Saturday beginning at 11 a.m. on a first come, first served basis. If you are in need of a meal, please visit us at 3315 S. Broadway, Englewood, CO 80113.
Want to help? There are four ways you can help us help others during this time:
- Make a donation to support our efforts to feed our neighbors. Your $20 donation will sponsor four boxed lunches. You can also donate via Venmo (@cafe180).
- Order from our all-new take-out menu to support our business. You can call 303-761-4510 to place your order, Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. The suggested donation is $10-12, and the minimum donation is $4.
- Share our messages on social media. The more people who know about to-go meals — both those in need of a meal and those who are able to help support our mission — the better.
- Email email@example.com words of encouragement. We will print your messages and include them in our boxed lunches to spread positivity.
We look forward to the day when we can resume business as usual, but until then, we are thankful for your continued support because everyone deserves great food.
